Flowing lava is an extremely hot liquid. On average, fresh lava can be between 1,300° F and 2,200° F (700° and 1,200° C). Thankfully, there is no flowing lava in the cave or otherwise it would not be possible to enter it. However, you will see clearly the path that the lava once flowed, some 5.200 years ago.
